Dell has made an excellent name for itself in the market of high-quality — and thus also higher priced — business laptops with its Latitude range. These are considered to be extremely powerful and have a discreetly elegant design.

In addition, there is the ecological claim of a company that can’t completely get rid of the long-standing image of the “box pusher” in the eyes of many: Latitude laptops were the first PCs to use recycled carbon fiber. Today, they are the first notebooks to use over 20 percent bioplastic from trees in the case lid — a note I happily put right at the beginning of this review.
